My journey to Japan began with a lot of twists and turns. Originally planned for September 2020, my adventure was delayed due to COVID-19. After several reschedules, it was finally confirmed: I would arrive on October 17, 2021.
Upon arrival, I spent 14 days in quarantine at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo. After that, I headed to Hashima City, a cozy little spot in Gifu Prefecture, where I stayed in another hotel for three weeks while waiting for my apartment to be ready.
Now, I live in Japan and explore obscure, and some not-so-obscure, alternatives in Japan!
